Brunnby Church ((スウェーデン語:Brunnby kyrka)) is a medieval Lutheran church located some north of Höganäs in southern Sweden. It belongs to the Diocese of Lund. The church is noted for its many 15th-century frescos, attributed to the Helsingborg Workshop. ==History and architecture==
Brunnby takes its name from the spring situated some south of the church. Built in the Romanesque style in the mid-12th century, the church initially consisted of a chancel and nave. Two small windows survive from this period. In the 15th century, the church was extended towards the west in the Gothic style, the tower was added and the ceilings were vaulted. The north arm of the transept known as Arild's Chapel was probably added at the beginning of the 16th century while the south arm or Mölle Chapel was completed in 1752. In 1752, the porch was replaced by the other arm of the transept. In 1912, Theodor Wåhlin redesigned the transept. A new chancel was added, the old chancel being converted into a sacristy.〔("Brunnby kirke" ), ''Nordens kirker''. Retrieved 13 September 2013.〕〔("Brunnby kyrka" ), Kyrkokartan.se.
